Below are our core values as a church. We would love to have you join us!
JESUS IS LIFE!
John 1 informs us that "through Him, all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men." Because of the life that Christ lived, we can walk in the light of the life we are called to live! (John 1:1-5)
GROWING PEOPLE CHANGE
We have some good news and bad news for you. You want to hear the bad news first? Ok, here it goes. There's one thing that everybody has in common: we're all human. We've all made decisions that weren't necessarily the right ones. We all have a past, some more colorful than others. Ready for the good news? God can still use you! And once He has you, he will continue to transform you through the renewing of your mind, turning you in to the unique and spectacular individual you were called to be! (Romans 12:1-8)
MADE TO SERVE
Have you ever felt like being a follower of Jesus can be too complicated at times? Or you want to make that commitment to be a full-time follower of Christ, but you're not really sure what it takes? Micah 6 shows us a way that we can follow Jesus, and it's actually quite simple: Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)
AN EMPTY SEAT IS A SERIOUS MATTER
Jesus, after his resurrection, was given ultimate authority over the Heavens and the Earth. One thing that He instructed us to do was be his hands and feet, making disciples of all people from all nations. One cool thing about Jesus is that He doesn't want to know just someone, He wants to know everyone! We want to give everyone the chance to meet their Savior so He can let them know just how valuable they are! (Matthew 28:16-20)
WE CHURCH, NOT ME CHURCH
Something that is vital to the well-being of humans is community; to be surrounded by people who care about you and enjoy being in your presence. After Jesus' death, many believers devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and being in fellowship with one another. Selling their possessions to those who are in need, breaking bread in each other's homes, everything they did with one another and for one another resulted in a glad and sincere heart! (Acts 2:42-47)
